Thank you Lord for giving Mary strength and hope with great joy even as her days drew closer to leave this life here on earth to be joined to her heavenly family with Jesus and the Lord God Almighty! What a privilege it was to know this family as I was privileged to have Mary’s mom as my Sunday School teacher at Moody. It was her mom that invited us the Billy Graham Crusade in Chicago. She also made the best German chocolate cake I have ever tasted. I too went to camp at Moody and love it so much cried all the way coming home. But most of all I remember many of the great people who came and have been blessed to know Mary as well as Margaret and yes Bervin as well. Thank you all for your service to those of us at Moody. What a great blessing all of you have been to so many of us. While its true, I have moved away from the Chicago area, I want you to know what an indelible mark you have all made on my life! Today I have 11 grandchildren also and my former husband died several years ago but not before becoming a believer and repenting of his sins! There is such great joy when one sinner repents! So I would like to offer this prayer for you all.
Father, how delighted you must be to have Mary at home with you! She must be simply marveling at everything she sees and hears! All her sorrow is gone and so is any evidence of disease of any kind. It is so wonderful that you restore all things and make all things new! Thank you for giving Mary ideas as well as different ways to communicate with each of her grandchildren! Lord I lift each of them up to you! I know how much they miss her! I pray your Holy Spirit would comfort each one of them in Jesus name and that each of them would know you as Savior and Lord of their lives. We commit them and entrust them into your care Father. I also lift up Bervin as well as Margaret and her brother Tom. May they each be comforted by your Holy Spirit and have great Joy in knowing Mary is with you and that they’ll see her again. Meanwhile comfort each of them Holy Father. May they sense your great love and peace throughout for all time.
God richly bless each and everyone of you!
Love in Christ,
