  1. This is a very touching story about Baby Yes. My daughter was a doll gal, but could also be a Tomboy. She has two older brothers that she tried to keep up with. When I had my first child, a son, the cabbage patch dolls were big with children then. He stayed with my mother-in-law while I worked and picked up a doll there to play with. At the time, my husband wasn’t very fond of the idea. So for his 1st birthday his grandparents, my in laws, bought him a boy cabbage patch doll. He named.him
Joe-Joe Rodriguez. We have no idea where he came up with that name or where he could have heard either Joe or Rodriguez. Anyway, Joe-Joe became his bestfriend. We went EVERYWHERE with him. When my son went to Kindergarten he finally decided he could be without him, which was a good thing because he was literally falling apart and almost decapitated. I had made a box of the things that mattered to me from my sons birth until almost or around kindergarten. We decided to place Joe-Joe Rodriguez in a small shoe box and save in the airtight storage box for him..
Just reading.the story about Baby Yes reminded me of this doll that became so much apart of our lives.Thank you for sharing it.
