Born in Galesburg, IL, on August 18, 1945, to his late parents, Willard and Lois Nyman. Respected Chicago attorney for 37 years, active member of Moody Church and later The Orchard Evangelical Free Church of Arlington Hts. A believer in Jesus Christ, faithful to God and his family. Visitation Friday, November 6, 4-7 pm, funeral Saturday, November 7, 12 pm. at Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 N. Western Ave., Chicago, IL 60625. Nyman family– Although I don’t know any of you, I have learned of your circumstances through Marta, my roommate. I have felt so close to you all over the past few weeks as I have stayed up-to-date on the blog posts. I know that Nate was a loved and cherished member of this entire family– what a blessing to have relatives like you all to love him and serve him until the end. I am terribly sorry for your loss– I know with even the comfort of heaven in his future, it is never easy to lose someone you love. I pray that in these upcoming days, weeks, and years you will be reminded of all the great days of Nate. I pray you will be comforted in his passing– as he is dancing with the Lord now (lucky guy!). Your family will stay in my prayers– I am so blessed to have Marta as my roommate! You have a wonderful niece who loves you all very much. God bless you all during this rough patch– but God’s hand has been so evident. Each and every blog post you have posted has just reminded me of God’s sovereignty in all circumstances. He is so good, and will continue to do great things through your family.

May the God of all comfort, comfort you all and enable you to contune on the Journey He has designed for each of us. I am sure the angels in Heaven are rejoicing because a weary traveler has come home to the arms of His Faithful Father. I am so very glad we know Jesus! He is such a great comfort in times like these. May The Lord keep you under the shelter of His Wings as a hen hovers over her chicks!

Dear Margaret,
One day I was looking for a good real estate attorney. Subsequently, I was introduced to your husband by your brother, Tom. I soon discovered that Tom had introduced me to not only a great attorney, but a good person.
Nate and I quickly became great friends. We had many early morning corversations about so many things–his family, his church, politics, etc.
I was profoundly saddened by the news of his illness and then his passing. I want you to realize as I had to realize that God is now taking care of Nate for all of us.
