I am wishing for a trip back to the UK. I love England, the countryside, the old architech, the history, not to mention the little shops where you can get the best cheese in the world, crackers, english teas and antiques. The museums, Churchill’s Bunker, the palaces, Windsor Castle, did I mention the candy? And the Sunday evening Evensong services, the small evening concerts, plays, even a good fish fry. (Wisconsin’s fish frys are good but they are not english fish frys). I grew up on Marmite, no one likes it here, and most don’t even know what it is. I miss the UK.
PS. I think I would miss the people too buy the photos I see here but I only know 2 people there and yes I miss them most of all.
Nancy forgot to mention the vegetables. Is Rachael Han’s mother-in-law? And how does she grow those gorgeous veggies? Wish we got rain here.
Great photos and love the captions! Wish I could have a bit of that chocolate bar, too. 🙂
What great pictures! I love England, too. It’s clear to see you’re having a marvelous time. I have no relatives left there as far as I know. They’ve all passed on. But I’ve had glorious trips there and have a special place in my heart for it. Enjoy every moment with your loved ones and have a safe return. -Ruth
Love the pictures, thank you for letting us enjoy your trip. We loved Engand as well, but I did get VERY nervous when Bruce drove out in the country and around the “round abouts”!!!!We rarely knew which lane to get in for the turn offs. He had to stop and comfort me on the narrow country roads that 2 cars could not pass. Thank the Lord we did not drive in London!!! Eat up those precious children and enjoy all. love Beth
I think you are brave to back up a van with a right-hand drive no less – AND with an active toddler on your lap. Thanks for sharing England.
How cool is that, hovering over each pictures and get the skinny. The sheep remind me of Scotland and that reminds me of my granddaughters over there and how much I miss them. Enjoy Enjoy Enjoy!
